Andy Robertson warns Liverpool FC about surprise title challengers



Andy Robertson has warned Liverpool FC that Arsenal and Chelsea FC cannot be underestimated in the Premier League title race.
The Reds were billed as Manchester City’s most-likely challengers in the 2018-19 season after Jurgen Klopp brought in four new signings in the summer transfer window.
Arsenal, though, are two points behind the leading pack after Unai Emery’s side eased to a resounding 5-1 win over Fulham at Craven Cottage in Sunday’s early kick-off.
However, Chelsea FC have managed to keep pace with the defending champions and Liverpool FC after eight games despite Maurizio Sarri’s appointment on 14 July.
The Blues were 3-0 winners against Southampton at St Mary’s on Sunday after Eden Hazard scored his seventh goal of the Premier League season to hoist the Blues to the top of the table. Liverpool FC’s stalemate with Manchester City in Sunday’s late kick-off to leave duo level on points with Chelsea FC in the top three positions after eight games.
Scotland captain Robertson was keen to stress that Arsenal and Chelsea FC can’t be discounted from the title race equation.
“We feel we can compete with any team but people seem to be just dismissing other teams and making it a two-horse race, which is not the case,” Robertson told Sky Sports on Sunday.
