Arsenal have informed Jakub Kiwior that the defender will not be allowed to leave the club before Friday’s transfer deadline.
Kiwior has been linked with an exit from Arsenal after struggling to cement a place in the side since his arrival from Spezia 18 months ago.

The Poland international has started just 18 league games for the Gunners and has seen competition for a first-team place increase this summer, following the arrival of Riccardo Calafiori from Bologna and Jurrien Timber’s return from an ACL injury.
Bologna had made an enquiry to sign the 24-year-old on loan as a potential replacement for Calafiori, while there has also been interest from Spanish side Villarreal for Kiwior, who can operate centrally or at left-back. However, Polish journalist Tomasz W?odarczyk has revealed that Arsenal have informed Kiwior’s camp that he is not for sale, ending hopes of a transfer before the deadline for deals later this week.
Kiwior was not included in the squad for the Premier League’s opening weekend before being an unused substitute during the 2-0 win at Aston Villa on Saturday.
