Arsene Wenger always holds an early Friday presser, and the eyes of the football world were on him as he spoke about a variety of things, including his touchline ban nearly being over, the transfer window and of course the future of several key players.
While he claimed that despite Sam Allardyce’s words, there is very little to say Theo Walcott will be leaving the club this season, it seems that he did have something to say on a possible move for Alexis Sanchez.
After fighting to keep him in the summer, the Gunners seem certain they will lose him for nothing at the end of the season and are willing to sell him this winter to recoup some money – with Manchester City the front runners, but Manchester United now in the mix, and Wenger was playing it coy as per usual.

He was asked about United wanting the player and said: ?Man United want Sanchez" You say that.
“It?s not that I don?t want to tell you, I don?t want to give the wrong information. A market auction is always good for the club but we are not at this point.
“I can?t tell you much more at the moment about the situation. Nothing is concrete at the moment.”
