Havertz explains ‘good dynamic’ at Arsenal following Burnley demolition
Kai Havertz says there is an “amazing” feeling at Arsenal as the club challenge for both the Premier League and Women’s Super League.
The German playmaker scored on Saturday as the Gunners put five past Burnley without reply at Turf Moor.
There were also goals from Martin Odegaard, Leandro Trossard and a brace from Bukayo Saka to extend their unbeaten run in the Premier League in 2024 to five games.

“We are in a good moment, we have won all of the games so far so it feels good,” Havertz said after the final whistle.
“Behind that was hard work and there are many hard games to come. We have to continue the hard work.”
Odegaard found the net after just five minutes, opening the floodgates for a rampant Arsenal, who have now won five games by five or more goals for the first time in a single season since 1934/35.

“We wanted to start the game very well and we lacked that at West Ham,” Havertz said. “We wanted to change that so the early goal was very important to us. We scored a few more good goals and we’re happy with the win.”
The result keeps Arsenal without two points of leaders Liverpool in the standings, while the club’s women’s side are just three points adrift of WSL table toppers Chelsea.
