Ian Wright raves about Unai Emery’s impact at Arsenal

Ian Wright has heaped praise on Unai Emery for Arsenal’s impressive start to the Premier League season.
The Spanish manager has made a positive impact at the north London outfit since the ex-Sevilla boss took over the reins from Arsene Wenger in May 2018.
Emery’s side were 5-1 winners against promoted side Fulham at Craven Cottage last weekend to secure their sixth successive Premier League win.
Arsenal hoisted themselves above bitter rivals Tottenham Hotspur and into fourth place in the table by virtue of their superior goal difference.
The Gunners have beaten West Ham, Cardiff City, Newcastle United, Everton, Watford and Fulham in their last six outings to establish themselves as the division’s form team.
The north London side have benefitted from the crisis at Manchester United and talk of a title battle between Liverpool FC and Manchester City. Indeed, Arsenal have been able to fly under the radar and move to within two points of Premier League leaders Manchester City despite losing their opening two games of the campaign.
Former Gunners striker Wright is thrilled by Emery’s impact at the north London side following 22 seasons under Wenger’s management.
“Yes, I know he copped a bit when he lost his first two games as Arsenal manager, but against Manchester City and Chelsea it was hardly the greatest surprise,” Wright told The Sun.
