Martin Odegaard pinpoints where Arsenal were ‘not good enough’ in damning verdict of Bayern defeat

Arsenal captain Martin Odegaard conceded his side ?were not good enough? in key moments against Bayern Munich after crashing out of the Champions League.
Joshua Kimmich scored the only goal of the game in Wednesday?s second leg clash at the Allianz Arena as Bayern booked their place in the semi-finals against Real Madrid with a 3-2 win.
Arsenal were caught on the counter in the first leg in north London last week with momentary lapses in concentration costing them last night.
The Gunners failed to take advantage after a promising first-half in Germany and faded in the second-half when the hosts scored the decisive goal.
Raphael Guerreiro was given ample room by Ben White coming in from the left to lift in an inviting cross, finding a completely free Kimmich to race onto the ball and hammer his header home. Gabriel Martinelli meanwhile appeared to be the man guilty of letting the German run free in the box.
While disappointed with the defending, Odegaard also admitted his side ?weren?t sharp enough? in front of goal, with clear cut opportunities coming at a premium in a tight contest.
‘I feel we went out and take control of the game where we control most things, Odegaard told TV2. ‘Then again there are some moments in the game where we are not good enough, like when they scored, same as in the home game actually.
