Thierry Henry pinpoints what Arsenal need to improve to challenge for the title



Thierry Henry has warned Arsenal that the Gunners won’t challenge for the Premier League title again unless they can improve their away form.
Arsene Wenger’s side lost 1-0 to Tottenham Hotspur in the north London derby on Saturday after England international Harry Kane scored a first-half winner at Wembley.
Arsenal are in sixth place in the table and eight points adrift of fourth-placed Chelsea FC to leave the Gunners contemplating another season without Champions League football.
Only runaway Premier League leaders Manchester City have a better home record than Arsenal this term after Wenger’s men collected 32 points from 13 games at The Emirates.
But the Gunners have drawn four and have lost seven times in 14 games on the road to undermine their impressive performances in front of their home supporters. Indeed, Arsenal have earned 14 points less than third-placed Liverpool FC in their away fixtures in the Premier League this term.
Former Gunners striker Henry underlined the importance of Arsenal improving their performance away from the Emirates Stadium if Wenger’s side are to challenge for the title again.
“It?s difficult to explain because you expect Arsenal to have a good record at home,” Henry told Monday Night Football on Sky Sports.
“You don?t expect Arsenal to get that [low] number of points away from home. It?s very low. We won the league twice unbeaten away from home.
