Football Twitter lit up on Saturday with one of the most incredible VAR moments we’ve ever seen in the Premier League.Â
We’ve seen plenty of mistakes and errors in recent years, but no one could quite believe it when VAR seemingly confirmed that Luis Diaz’s first-half strike was offside, despite appearing marginally onside, during Tottenham’s 2-1 win over Liverpool.
A PGMOL statement after the game confirmed that it was, in fact, the incorrect decision and absolutely bedlam reigned online. Here’s a taster of what went down.
