President Joan Laporta and Xavi spoke to the press to confirm the news, and the club chief was clearly very happy to keep his coach around for one more year. Laporta also promised ?changes and adjustments? to help Xavi, and is happy to maintain stability in the head coach position as he continues the club?s rebuild.
