The youngster put in a strong effort vs. Real Madrid. Bayern Munich star Jamal Musiala was one of many players who put in a massive effort during the team?s 2-2 draw with Real Madrid in the Champions League.
Entering the match, however, there was some doubt about Musiala?s health given a tendon issue that had recently kept him out of several team training sessions, along with the team?s last two Bundesliga matches.
Musiala downplayed the severity of his ailment after the Madrid draw. Fully healthy or even a little banged up, Musiala felt like Bayern Munich could have come away with a win, but is looking forward to the return leg in Spain.
?We could have come away with a win. It?s a little bit bitter, but we?ll keep our heads high and go again at the Bernabéu. I always dreamed about playing in these kind of games,? Musiala told beIN Sports (as captured by @iMiaSanMia). For the game against Real Madrid, Musiala completed 93% of his passes, was successful on five of six dribble attempts, had two interceptions, and won 10 of his 14 ground duels.
