Eberl said after the game (via FCBayern.com, as captured by @iMiaSanMia). ?We were a bit lucky to get an equalizer, but then we had to take the lead with two or three great chances after half-time. Today gets forgotten relatively quickly and then all the focus goes to Wednesday. We also showed against [Arsenal FC] that we can switch on very quickly. No matter what, no matter how, we want to reach the Final.?
Bayern has indeed risen to the occasion against top competition in the UCL. But it will have to shake off this result against Stuttgart ? a strong Bundesliga foe who thoroughly outclassed on the day ? to have a fighting chance.
