Thomas Müller echoes his coach?s sentiments: ?Perfect week? for Bayern Munich

True to form, he?s talking about the team, not about his two goals Bayern Munich star Thomas Müller had a very satisfying game against Union Berlin in the Bundesliga, scoring two goals in one game for the first time in over a year. Müller opened the scoring with a brilliant dummy and contributing heavily to a dominant victory. Most players would be very happy with such a performance and allow themselves to bask in the glory of their achievement.
Instead, Müller?s nerdy analytic tendencies shone through as he dived into both sides? tactical approach and his team?s eventual success:
?We played a good game. We were more aggressive and therefore won the ball higher up the pitch,? Müller said after the game (as captured by @iMiaSanMia). ?When we lost the ball, Union showed once or twice what they could do with their counterattack strength. Overall, we were aggressive in the duels and didn?t concede many chances. The second goal just before half-time obviously played into our hands. At the beginning of the second half we got rolling, were unstoppable and deserved to win. It was a perfect week with three wins [against FC Köln, Arsenal FC and Union Berlin].? Here?s to hoping the next few weeks will be just as perfect as the last one.
