Borussia Dortmund Face Real Madrid in the Champions League Final

Borussia Dortmund will face Real Madrid at Wembley Stadium on June 1, 2024, after Real defeated Bayern Munich 2-1 at the Santiago Bernabeu, winning 4-3 on aggregate. BVB will be massive underdogs in the final, facing the greatest club side in history and 14-time winners of the Champions League, but 90 minutes of football can lead to some improbable outcomes. Dortmund must stop the Galacticos juggernaut to lift that famous trophy next month.
Real Madrid and Bayern Munich came into the second leg tonight with the scores level after a 2-2 draw in Munich last week, and it took until the 68th minute to break the deadlock. The opening goal came from an Alphonso Davies screamer that put Bayern Munich 1-0 up. The goal was against the run of play, as Real had dominated the game up to that point, but Bayern had to hold Real off for twenty minutes to secure a Der Klassiker final. Twenty minutes is a long time when you?re up against the incredibly powerful juju that is Real Madrid in the Champions League, and it would prove too much for Bayern.
