The Daily Bee (January 12th, 2017): BVB fans boycott Monday night game

BVB-fans boycott Augsburg game
Several BVB fan-groups have announced in a joint statement that they will boycott the home game against FC Augsburg on February 26th at 8.30pm because it will be played on a Monday night. BVB-Ultras as well as fans from other German clubs have protested against splitting up the schedule for years, without much success. Both, the clubs and the DFL see another possibility to monetize the games and that?s why we?ll see games being played on Monday?s from here on out. Expect a very quiet game against Augsburg and an unusual atmosphere.
Pulisic ?won?t leave anytime soon?
During an interview with ESPN, Raphael Honigstein who just interviewed Christian Pulisic a few days ago has said that the youngster ?won?t leave anytime soon?. New reports surfaced claiming Liverpool and Manchester United were trying to sign Pulisic this summer. The 19-year-old has a contract that runs through 2020 and with BVB?s US-tour coming up this summer it?s crucial for Dortmund to hang on to him or even extend his contract. Injury-update
During the pre-game press conference today, Peter Stöger stated that all players who missed practice with the stomach flu returned yesterday and will probably be available to play against Wolfsburg on Sunday.
Maximilian Philipp and Marco Reus will obviously not be available as well as both Marcel Schmelzer and Raphael Guerreiro which opens up a huge hole at left back. Stöger will have to improvise, either rush Erik Durm back into the line-up which would be a risk or play Jeremy Toljan or Dan-Axel Zagadou.
