Bournemouth’s latest bid for player rejected by ‘the leadership’ at club – Transfer looking unlikely
Bournemouth have seen a new and revised offer for Ecuadorian youngster Oscar Zambrano rejected, with a deal looking unlikely at this point.
That?s according to journalist Fabian Gallardo, who says Bournemouth have seen a $6.35m offer for the youngster turned down by LDU Quito.
Zambrano?s future has become something of a saga in this window, with a report earlier in the month claiming that Bournemouth had secured the highly rated youngster in a $5m deal.
That was quickly dismissed by his agent, who insisted it was not the case, which then sparked a small war of words between various parties potentially involved in the deal, all with Bournemouth sat in the middle of it.
It was eventually reported that the player?s agent wanted him to move to Germany, not England, but it seems that has not put off the Cherries and they lodged another bid worth $6.35m. That, though, was rejected by ?the leadership? at LDU Quito and Gallardo says the deal ?fell through?. German interest in the player is also yet to appear or develop into anything and it appears he will be staying where he is for the time being.
There is, of course, time for that to change before the January window closes but for now it appears he won?t be heading to Bournemouth any time soon.
