Brentford will play our 100th Premier League match when Liverpool visit on Saturday.
In our two-and-a-half seasons in the league, we have been undefeated in nearly two-thirds of our games – with 35 wins, 25 draws and 39 losses.
Three of those defeats have come against Liverpool – all at Anfield – while we have beaten the Reds once and drawn with them once at the Gtech. More details on these matches later in this article.
Liverpool arrive on Saturday top of the Premier League – two points ahead of Manchester City, who have a game in hand which is against us next Tuesday. Their season, however, will be defined by being the last at the helm for Jurgen Klopp, who suddenly announced last month that he is stepping down at the end of the campaign.
As things stand, he has the chance to go out in a blaze of glory as the Reds are still in all four competitions they entered at the start of the season.
They play Chelsea in the Carabao Cup final on Sunday week, they host Southampton in the FA Cup fifth round three days later, and are waiting to find out their next Europa League opponents having comfortably come through the group stages.
?
In the Premier League they have only lost two games so far – both in north London....
