Defeat at Bristol City leaves under-18s still looking for first win

Beaten 4-1 at Gawthorpe by Millwall a week earlier, our under-18s suffered another big defeat last Saturday, going down to a 4-0 defeat at Bristol City.
It?s left us with one point from our opening three games, that coming from a draw in the season opener at Charlton, but we still sit ahead of three teams in the north group with none of Hull, Peterborough or Wigan having picked up a point; Wigan in particular are struggling with only one goal scored and twelve conceded.
At the other end of the table, Birmingham still lead the way. They?ve played more games than anyone else but four wins from four is a very good start for them and they lead Coventry by five points with the Sky Blues having that game in hand.
Bristol City, with that win against us, have gone top of the south group on goal difference ahead of Charlton. Both teams have seven points but Bristol City lead the way currently courtesy of a goals against column that reads zero. Five of the six teams in the north group are still searching for a first win of the season, Sheffield United joining ourselves and the three pointless clubs below us, but in the south, only Cardiff are without a victory having drawn one and lost two of their three games to date.
This week sees the teams having a week off with the next set of fixtures to come a week on Saturday. We have a home game that day against Colchester.
The player featured this week is goalkeeper Jon Ander Vilar Robinson.
