England has the whistle at West Ham
Doncaster referee Darren England will be in charge of our Premier League game at West Ham tomorrow and we can only hope he has a better game than when he last refereed us in this season?s home defeat against Spurs when he had an absolute shocker.
Tomorrow will be his sixth Burnley game and his third with us in the Premier League, the other coming at Wolves when a Chris Wood hat trick saw us through to a 4-0 win. He had a shocker last season on the Turf in our 3-0 win against Birmingham and his overall performances currently seem him next to bottom of RATE THE REF with a rating of just 45.97 out of 100.

It is not the first occasion that PGMOL has had to apologise for a significant error made by him when on VAR duty. Despite refereeing his first Premier League game over four years ago, and predominantly refereeing at the top level last season, he?s found Premier League games more difficult to come by this season with just six of his nineteen domestic games in the top league alongside ten Championship games and four games in the two domestic cup competitions.
In those 19 games he?s shown 108 yellow and three red cards. Fifty of those yellows have gone to home tea...
