Under-21s win big at Coventry
The under-21s kicked off their away double with a big 4-0 win at Coventry this afternoon to move closer to the top group of teams in the north group of the Professional Development League.
Three goals in the first half, scored by Renaldo Torraj (pictured), Joe Bevan and Tom Tweedy gave us a commanding half time lead with Vernon Masara adding a fourth and final goal just a few minutes into the second half.
We had to play the final ten minutes with ten men when Brad Grant was sent off for a second yellow but we saw it through comfortably to record our eighth league win of the season.
The teams were; Coventry: Luke Bell, David Mantle, Callum Perry, Joshua Gordon, Kain Ryan, Elliot Betjemann, Bradley Stretton, Rylie Siddall, Marvellous Onabierkhanlan, Charlie Finney, Conrad Ambursley. Subs: Daniel Rachel, Constantine Panayiotou, Aiden Dausch, MacKenzie Stretton, Joseph McCallum.
Burnley: Sam Waller, Alex Healy-Byrne, Benn Ward, Murray Campbell, Will Hugill (Ackeme Francis-Burrell 70), Joe Bevan (Basilio Rieno Socoliche 63), Tommy McDermott, Tom Tweedy (Mikey O?Neill 63), Renaldo Torraj (Michael Parker 70), Vernon Masara (Joe Ashton 79).
