Chelsea are not having the season they will have hoped for.
Currently in 11th place and 19 points behind Aston Villa in fourth, things aren’t going as Mauricio Pochettino will have planned.
The disappointing season won’t be all down to the manager, with plans off the pitch seeming a little weak to say the least, but it’s the Argentine who will ultimately lose his job if things don’t improve very quickly.
Multiple managers have been linked with the Blues already, even if the prospect of taking over at Stamford Bridge won’t be as attractive as it has often been in recent years.
The German media has even suggested Thomas Tuchel could be up for a return to Chelsea, although that would take some digestion of humble pie from those in charge. Over in Spain, they have a new name.

The 48-year-old is currently manager at Girona, who are second in La Liga after 28 matches.
Monday’s edition of AS claims there’s an ‘important offer’ from Chelsea, already ‘on the table’ for the manager. The Spanish newspaper believe Pochettino is on his way out, and that the Blues are actively working to recruit a new manager.
It’s even stated that Chelsea officials travelled to Spain recently to speak to Míchel Sánchez and try to convince him over their project.
However, it’s not thought the charm offensive has worked, and the manager is expected to snub the Premier League club.
