Dortmund target summer transfer for Batshuayi after January setback

Borussia Dortmund will try and sign Chelsea loanee Michy Batshuayi on a permanent deal in the summer, according to reports.
The Bundesliga side wanted to sign the Belgian permanently after Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang completed his move to Arsenal, but Roman Abramovich blocked the deal.
Instead Dortmund took Batshuayi on a six-month loan on transfer deadline day and already the striker is feeling at home.
The 24-year-old has scored three goals and one assist in his first two games for Dortmund and he is already becoming a fans favourite after performing a somersault after scoring on his debut.
Ahead of his bow he claimed he would celebrate like his predecessor Aubameyang, if he scored.
?I will do the somersault in my new stadium,? said Batshuayi ahead of the game, and he obliged with a a goal in a 2-0 win over Hamburg. Dortmund has been impressed with the striker and CEO Hans-Joachim Watzke confirmed they tried to get Batshuayi on a permanent deal.
“We tried our best to get a permanent option for Michy Batshuayi, but it was a no go for Chelsea. When Roman Abramovich says ”no”, it is a ”no”,” said Watzke.

The Blues paid £33million to sign Batshuayi from Marseille in 2016 but he has struggled for game time under Antonio Conte with Diego Costa and now Alavro Morata preferred.
Arsenal forward Olivier Giroud joined Chelsea last month and if he becomes hit at Stamford Bridge then maybe Abramovich will allow Batshuayi to move on in the summer.
