Crystal Palace could be without Eberechi Eze for up to two months after the winger suffered a hamstring injury.

The Englishman was a constant threat throughout the Eagles’ impressive 1-0 win against Manchester United at Old Trafford on Saturday.

With Odsonne Edouard and Michael Olise already out, Eze had taken on the burden of Palace’s creativity.

His form was likely to earn him a call-up to England’s squad for the autumn internationals against Australia and Italy.

However, according to widespread reports, Eze has suffered a hamstring strain.
The injury could see him miss two months of action, though Palace hope he could return before the end of November.

Nevertheless, that would see him miss crucial fixtures against the likes of Everton, Bournemouth and Luton.

It’s a major blow to Roy Hodgson’s side, who have made a solid start to the campaign.

The Eagles have 11 points from their first seven matches, winning three, drawing twice and losing twice.
