Ederson, Kyle Walker and Nathan Ake injury latest from Man City boss Pep Guardiola

Ederson could return to the Manchester City team after a hamstring injury in the trip to Crystal Palace on Saturday, although Pep Guardiola did not confirm the goalkeeper’s availability.
The Brazilian has been out since suffering the injury against Liverpool on 10 March, with Stefan Ortega deputising in his absence.
Ederson is closing in on a return to action, but Kyle Walker and Nathan Ake remain sidelined as the Englishman has a hamstring issue and the Dutchman a calf problem.
Speaking at a press conference on Friday, Guardiola said: ‘Eddy is much better, maybe he will be on the list. Nathan and Kyle are out.’
The Spanish manager rotated his squad against Aston Villa on Wednesday, with Kevin De Bruyne and Erling Haaland left on the bench for the entirety of the 4-1 win.
Asked if the two star men were set to return to the team against the Eagles on Saturday lunchtime, Guardiola gave little away.
‘We played less than two and a half days since a demanding game,’ he said. The face of the players, how players recover quicker than others, others recover take more time.

‘Many aspects. A long week is completely different but a short week you have to talk with the doctors or physios and I will decide early tomorrow morning.’
