Chelsea striker Nicolas Jackson had to be escorted down the tunnel by a member of staff after he was involved in a furious exchange at Everton on Sunday.
The incident occurred just after the full-time whistle as the west Londoners suffered a 2-0 defeat at Goodison Park.
Jackson was involved in a heated row with a number of Everton players – including Nathan Patterson and Amadou Onana, appearing to grab the former player by the throat – and had to be restrained by his own teammates.
The Senegal international was then pulled away by Mauricio Pochettino and led down the tunnel by one of the Argentine’s assistants as tempers boiled over.
Jackson arrived at Chelsea this summer in a £32m deal from Villarreal and he has registered six goals across 15 Premier League games this term.
The 22-year-old has also picked up a whopping seven yellow cards and Pochettino sent a message to Jackson over his discipline earlier this month.
?When you analyse the team, starting XI or players who come from the bench, there?s not too much experience of the Premier League,? Pochettino said.
