Bad news for Everton striker as season looks to be over

Big blow
One of Everton’s strikers have suffered an extreme blow with their season looking likely to be over after a horrendous injury was announced.
The player comes in the form of talented loanee Henry Onyekuru, currently playing in Belgium with Anderlecht.
The forward was signed in the summer transfer window but with the player unable to get a work permit, he was shipped out on loan.
Onyekuru knew all about Belgian football, having signed from Eupen who moving in the summer.
While his goal record this season looks pretty impressive, his manager has been critical of him and both his attitude and work off the ball.
Now though, all of Everton, Anderlecht and the player have suffered a blow in that the player has a very serious injury.
According to reports, it looks as though it is his medial ligament with concerns that tests may actually reveal an anterior cruciate ligament injury.
If so, experts are putting a timescale of around six months on his recovery which would obviously see him return to Everton for recovery. Though, it is not sure what his work permit situation is and whether he would need to be loaned out again next season to meet requirements.
Regardless, it is a big blow for all parties and they will all be wishing him a very speedy recovery.
