Manchester United goalkeeper Andre Onana withdraws from Cameroon squad after injury blow

Andre Onana has officially withdrawn from the Cameroon squad to return to Manchester United after suffering an injury while on international duty.
Onana, 27, returned to the national team this year after a brief retirement and started in goal in a World Cup qualifier against Mauritius on Friday.
The former Inter Milan and Ajax shot stopper was forced off with 10 minutes of the rematch remaining.
With Onana undergoing tests, the Cameroon FA have confirmed their goalkeeper has suffered an injury to the pubis, one of the three main bones that makes up the pelvis.
He will not be involved on Tuesday?s qualifier against Libya in Benghazi.
Onana will now return to Manchester for further assessment with United facing a trip to Everton in their first game back next Sunday.
Early reports have indicated United do not fear Onana has suffered a major injury with some hope he could be available for that trip to Goodison Park.

United are likely to be without Christian Eriksen and Rasmus Hojlund for the Everton game after both withdrew from the Denmark squad this week.
Eriksen was forced off in the 1-0 with over Luton and is expected to be out for a month with a knee problem. Hojlund?s muscle strain is thought to be less severe but is likely to be a major doubt for the trip to Merseyside.
