Back Leicester to beat Leeds in relegation dogfight

PEDANTIC punters will tell you there’s no such thing as a six-pointer and, of course, they are correct.
So let’s call Leeds versus Leicester colossal, gigantic, immense, epic – whatever takes your fancy.
It’s pure box office and the only Tuesday television to watch because the stakes are enormous.
Whoever wins will probably be just a win or even a couple of draws away from Premier League salvation.
The loser will be in dire straits having played a game more than Everton and Nottingham Forest in the bottom three and with the prospect of relegation into the abyss a frightening possibility.
Leeds’ last five matches start with trips to Bournemouth and Manchester City before Newcastle roll up at Elland Road.
After that they go to West Ham before finishing the season at home to Tottenham.
Leicester’s last five fixtures begin at home to Everton before a trip to Fulham. They then entertain Liverpool before travelling to Newcastle and finishing at home against the Hammers.
Leeds are one point above the Foxes but need to plug the leaks in a defence which has allowed a shocking 18 goals in its last five outings.
They have scored a goal in each of those matches and should be able to register at least one against Leicester whose 2-1 victory at home to Wolves on Saturday was their first success after a disastrous run of eight de...
