“I’ll now call Jurgen Klopp” – Club’s sport director wants to sign Liverpool player

Marko Grujic has certainly seen development since moving to Hertha Berlin on loan from Liverpool.
After a reasonable spell on loan at Cardiff City, the 23 year old moved to the Bundesliga and it’s not pushing it too much to say he’s considered one of the best young midfielders playing in Germany.
Despite a couple of spells out for ankle injuries, the Liverpool owned player has made 22 appearances so far this season, and has five goals and one assist.
Hertha would dearly like to keep him for another campaign, but they’re facing competition from other clubs including Eintracht Frankfurt. Grujic’s agent already has four players at Frankfurt, and if the team qualify for Europe on the final day of the German season, it’s going to be hard to compete against them. Liverpool would obviously be tempted by their player getting experience in European football, so Hertha will have fingers crossed that it all goes wrong for Frankfurt at the weekend.
Bild quote Hertha’s sport director Michael Preetz as saying: “After the champion fight in England is over, I’ll now call Jurgen Klopp.”
Maybe Preetz needs to be aware Klopp has another rather big game to concentrate on.
