Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp is hopeful nobody forgets about Sadio Mane amid all the praise directed towards star duo Mohamed Salah and Roberto Firmino.
Salah and Firmino both stole the headlines after scoring for the Reds in a 2-0 win over Southampton, taking their combined league tally to 34.
They assisted each other’s goals, and though Klopp has lauded the performance of his two forwards, he made sure to point out the contribution of Mane and the influence he has on the side ? despite not finding himself on the scoresheet.

“I don?t want to forget Sadio [Mane] because he was involved in everything. Mo [Salah] is very good, really greedy,” Klopp joked to BBC Sport after the game.
“Roberto Firmino was not bothered too much. Mo had assist and a goal, both of them did and it was deserved. Important players like that make a difference.
“In the second half [Georginio] Wijnaldum was spot on, Emre Can is a good character. They’re all good characters.”
The Senegalese winger hasn’t replicated the heights of last season, scoring just six goals and making five assists so far, but nevertheless remains a deadly attacking threat for Klopp.
Mane’s last two league goals came at the start of January against Burnley and Manchester City and the player has struggled to finish his chances as clinically as he did last term.
