Graeme Souness sends warning to Liverpool FC about the title race

Graeme Souness has warned Liverpool FC that they must win all of their remaining games if they are to lift the Premier League trophy this season.
The Reds temporarily moved back to the top of the Premier League table on Saturday thanks to their 3-0 win over Bournemouth at Anfield.
However, Manchester City are now back at the summit of the table after their emphatic 6-0 thrashing of Chelsea FC at The Etihad on Sunday afternoon.
Liverpool FC are level on points with Manchester City but have played a game less than Pep Guardiola’s men as the Premier League title race begins to hot up.
However, former Liverpool FC star Souness believes that the Reds may have to win every single one of their remaining games if Manchester City are able to continue their recent good form. Speaking to Sky Sports on Sunday, Souness said: “City have put a marker down today. Liverpool are going to have to win every single game to win this league. City have the bit between their teeth right now.
“The way Liverpool beat Bournemouth [on Saturday] doesn’t confirm they’re back at their best.
“But that result for City has confirmed after their hiccup, they’re saying: ‘We’re bang at it, this is how we’re going to finish the season’.
“If that is their form between now and the end of the season, Liverpool have to win every game. That’s what they’re looking at.
