Paris Saint-Germain goalkeeper Gianluigi Buffon has placed Liverpool‘s Anfield in the top three stadiums he has played in.   
Buffon, 40, has played in some of the most iconic grounds in world football during a trophy-laden career that spans over two decades.
The Juventus legend made his debut for Parma in 1995 and has since gone on to amass nearly 900 appearances across all competitions, including 176 caps for the Italian national side.
During that time, the veteran shot-stopper has plied his trade in some of the finest edifices world football has to offer, including the Bernabeu and the San Siro to name but two. However, Buffon has now confessed that the intimidating atmospheres of Liverpool’s Anfield, Rangers’ Ibrox and Fenerbahce’s Sukru Saracoglu, have made them the best stadiums to play in for him.

Buffon answered questions from fans on his Instagram story (via Football Italia), and he was asked for the stadium which most excited him: “Definitely Anfield, in Liverpool, that was one of the few stadiums – along with Rangers in Glasgow and Fenerbahce in Istanbul – where there was such commotion for the first 15-20 minutes that I had...
