Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has confirmed Loris Karius will continue in goal for the Reds for their Champions League game against Porto on Wednesday.
The German has recently established himself as Liverpool’s starting goalkeeper ahead of Simon Mignolet, though both have struggled with consistency in their time at Anfield.
Karius, 24, has started seven of Liverpool’s past nine games in all competitions, having played just eight of the first 27 matches of the season – though he was an ever-present in the Champions League.
And despite being Liverpool’s number one goalkeeper for a manager who has previously rotated shot-stoppers for domestic and international club competitions, Klopp has confirmed Karius will continue in goal away to Porto.

Karius has kept seven clean sheets in his 15 appearances so far this season, including three in the Champions League group stages.
