Liverpool forward Mohamed Salah has agreed to join the Saudi Pro League this summer, according to former Premier League striker Mido.
Salah had attracted strong interest from Saudi side Al-Ittihad last year, with reports claiming that the Egypt international had been offered a contract worth at least £150 million over two seasons.
However, Salah opted to spend one more season at Liverpool and is now pushing to win more silverware in Jurgen Klopp’s final campaign at Anfield having lifted the Carabao Cup last weekend.
Former Egypt striker Mido now claims that this will also be Salah’s final year at Liverpool as the 31-year-old has signed a deal to make the move to Saudi Arabia.
Mido posted on X: ‘Mohamed Salah will be in the Saudi League next season. Contracts have been signed.’

Saudi Pro League clubs have spent in excess of £700 million on new signings over the past year and the division’s vice-chair, Saad Al Lazeez, insists the financial backing will not slow down.
‘This is a long-term investment. We are not in it for a season,’ he said at the Financial Times? Business of Football Summit.
‘We are pleased with what has been achieved so far. In fact, I think we are a bit ahead of schedule.’
