Thierry Henry believes Liverpool FC could be the Premier League team to finally end Manchester City’s 22-game unbeaten run.
The Premier League leaders will make the trip to Anfield on Sunday afternoon in search of their 21st top-flight win of the 2017-18 season.
Manchester City have only dropped points in stalemates with Crystal Palace and Everton in the current campaign.
Liverpool FC lost 5-0 to Pep Guardiola’s side at the Etihad Stadium back in September, although Mane’s first-half sending off contributed to the result.
The Reds are unbeaten in their last 13 games in the Premier League to bounce back from a mixed start to the season following heavy losses at Manchester City and Tottenham Hotspur.
Only Guardiola’s Citizens side have scored more goals than Liverpool FC in the Premier League this season.
Mohamed Salah is the Premier League’s second-highest goal-scorer following a return of 17 goals in 22 games since his 39m move to Liverpool FC from AS Roma last summer. Former Arsenal striker Henry has tipped Liverpool FC to cause Manchester City some problems at Anfield on Sunday afternoon.
“We had flashes of that in the game at the Etihad,” Henry told Sky Sports.
“I would have liked to see that game without Mane getting sent off because Liverpool were well in the game before that and it would have been interesting.
“The teams that created the most trouble to Man City are the teams are the bottom of the league. At the beginning of the Carabao Cup they played Wolverhampton and they went to the penalty kicks against them.
“We saw what happened with Bristol [City], Bournemouth, Southampton, West Ham and Huddersfield – they struggled against these type of teams. I do not know why because you would like to think they struggle against teams like Chelsea and the like.
