Leroy Sane has returned to the Manchester City squad to face Basel in the Champions League, having recovered from a ligament injury.
The German was expected to be out until the end of March having been on the receiving end of a horror tackle from Joe Bennett in City’s FA Cup tie against Cardiff City in January.
But the winger has made an extraordinary recovery, giving manager Pep Guardiola the privilege of naming him among the substitutes.
