Alan Shearer blasts ‘frustrating’ Marcus Rashford for ‘failing to take responsibility’ at Manchester United

Newcastle United legend Alan Shearer didn’t hold back in his criticism of Manchester United’s Marcus Rashford during the side’s FA Cup victory against Nottingham Forest.
Casemiro’s injury-time winner gave United a 1-0 win at the Forest Ground to set-up a quarter-final tie against Liverpool at Old Trafford.
Though United started brightly and could have put the tie to bed within the first 20 minutes, Forest grew into the game and easily could have snatched it themselves.
United started with Rashford in a central striker position, with Ramus Hojlund still unavailable.
Like against Fulham on Saturday, Rashford disappointed and his body language was poor.
At one point, Rashford was put through on goal, only for two Forest defenders to squash him and United’s chances of going ahead.
Rashford called for a penalty, but his calls were quickly dismissed and Shearer was far from happy with the England ace.
