Jose Mourinho sends clear Man United warning to Real Madrid

Jose Mourinho has told Real Madrid to forget about signing David De Gea from Manchester United this summer.
The Spanish shot-stopper has long been linked with a move to the Spanish side and he came close to signing for Real Madrid in the summer of 2015 before the transfer fell through at the final hour due to paperwork issues.
De Gea, 27, has developed into one of the world’s best goalkeepers since his transfer to Old Trafford from Atletico Madrid back 2011, when Sir Alex Ferguson was still in charge.
His fine performances are bound to prompt speculation linking him with a move away from Old Trafford, but Mourinho has now issued a “hands-off” warning to the Spanish side about their reported pursuit of the shot-stopper.
Speaking at a news conference on Monday before Manchester United’s Champions League clash with Sevilla, Mourinho said: “I think he will stay. I don’t know what Real Madrid’s intentions are, but if I were them, I would think of another player.” De Gea has 16 months left on his current Manchester United contract.
Meanwhile, Manchester United are now preparing for a return to FA Cup action and their home clash against Brighton and Hove Albion in the quarter-finals at Old Trafford on Saturday.
The Red Devils cemented their place in second spot in the Premier League table on Saturday with a 2-1 victory over bitter local rivals Liverpool FC at Old Trafford.
