Juventus boss Massimiliano Allegri admits his side struggled to cope with the aerial prowess of Manchester United super sub Marouane Fellaini.
Cristiano Ronaldo broke the deadlock against his former club with a devastating volley in the 65th minute before two late goals secured a crucial away win for Jose Mourinho’s men at the death in Turin.
Juan Mata – who scored United’s equaliser – and Fellaini caused Juve all sorts of problems after coming off the bench and Jose Mourinho credited the latter with making ‘the team alive again’ in the second half.
Juve’s defeat was their first at home in the group stage since losing to Bayern Munich back in 2009/10 and Allegri believes his side need to be more ‘precise’ in the final third to kill off opposition teams.
