Anthony Martial’s dramatic loss of form since signing a new deal at Manchester United has left Ole Gunnar Solskjaer concerned.
The Frenchman’s form picked up when Solskjaer replaced Jose Mourinho in December and he became a regular starter in a front three with Marcus Rashford and Jesse Lingard.
Mourinho wanted to sell Martial last summer due to concerns about his attitude but the club tied him down to a new five-year deal just six weeks after the Portuguese’s departure.
However, like the team itself, there was a significant drop off in Martial’s form and he managed just one goal in his final 11 appearances of the season.

Martial has also been hindered by a back injury in recent weeks that kept him out of a 2-0 defeat to Manchester City in April.
