Paul Pogba insists that he’s still ‘hungry’ after France’s World Cup win and admits there are areas of his game he must work on at Manchester United.
The 25-year-old was at the heart of Didier Deschamps’ triumphant side in Russia but returned to a difficult situation at United after being dropped from Jose Mourinho’s starting XI towards the end of last season.
Barcelona were keeping close tabs on Pogba’s situation for much of the summer but the Frenchman stayed on at Old Trafford and had a promising start to the season, scoring in United’s two opening games.
However, Pogba was stripped of the vice-captaincy following a 1-1 draw with Wolves and his relationship with Mourinho has broken down significantly. But the midfielder is ready to knuckle down again at United.
