Pioli needs to show his value as a coach and the senior players must step up to secure their spot in the final four. AC Milan now travel to the capital to attempt to overturn their poor result at the San Siro. AS Roma have a slight advantage thanks to Mancini?s header from a set piece but Milan had their opportunities too. Stefano Pioli?s men have a one goal deficit and must fight back to secure their place in the semi finals of the Europa League tonight.
Mike Maignan returns from a minor injury as well as Fikayo Tomori from a suspension. Malick Thiaw being dropped in the only expected change in the starting line up from last week unless Pioli deploys Samuel Chukwueze who is in top form in the past two weeks. The Rossoneri are in free fall as Roma ended their 6 game win streak and they have a loss and a draw since. Milan need to come out of the gates firing as Roma can hold their defensive line and frustrate us tonight,].
Expected Line Up (4-2-3-1): Maignan; Calabria, Gabbia, Tomori, Hernandez; Bennacer, Reijnders; Pulisic, Loftus-Cheek, Leao; Giroud.
