Newcastle boss Eddie Howe insisted that star striker Alexander Isak is not for sale this summer after being linked with a move to Arsenal.
Isak starred in his side?s dramatic 4-3 win over West Ham, scoring twice from the penalty spot as well as setting up the first of Harvey Barnes? late brace.
Despite an injury affected season, the 24-year-old has still notched up 14 goals in the Premier League this season and has caught the eye of several big clubs, most notably league rivals Arsenal.
Newcastle struggled to bring in new bodies in January due to Financial Fair Play restrictions, but Howe was quick to shut down any suggestions that the Swedish striker may leave in the summer to raise cash for their summer recruitment.
?He?s an outstanding talent and no one connected with Newcastle would want to lose him,? Howe said.
?I thought he was excellent against West Ham. He didn?t score in open play but his two penalties were outstanding and his general play was very good. His link play, his athleticism, he looked in a really good place.?
While the Magpies may not be willing to let go of Isak, who recently insisted he was unbothered by the growing transfer speculation, there will be interest in several other key players.
