We are now halfway through the January window and so far the greatest excitement for Canary fans has been a loan transfer.
I refer, of course, to the signing by Walsall of Emmanuel Adegboyega for the rest of the season – the 20-year-old defender that City signed from Drogheda United in the summer. This makes him our third centre-back loaned out to a League Two club following Brad Hills’move to Accrington and Jonathan Tomkinson’s to Bradford.
It’s a shame that one of these three was not seen as able to take a space in the Championship squad.
Jaden Warner has been the young ‘un to get a few games but it is also strongly rumoured that he too could be lined up for a loan spell in this window.

A loan space has been freed up by the return of Ui-Jo Hwang to Nottingham Forest, though that decision may be more to his extracurricular activities back in South Korea, than his lack of effectiveness on the field of play. If it does go belly-up for him, we can all understand why the club would not want to be associated with his alleged behaviour.
