Will 15 points from 27 be enough to secure City sixth place"
The dreaded run-in. We have been here before. Many times. Promotion battles are something the Canary faithful have become accustomed to. The final throes of season 2023-24 loom.
City have nine games left to cement a playoff place. Unfinished business. The last thing anyone of a yellow and green persuasion wants is another late-season collapse. From the 27 points available at this same stage last season, City managed just six, which resulted in a 13th-place finish and a bitter taste in the mouth.
Norwich were seventh this time last season – nine games left – ahead of an away game against Stoke. This time around they are sixth with nine left, again ahead of an away game against Stoke. The symmetry is glaring but one win in the final nine games won?t do this season.
So here goes… How will the playoff picture unfold" Who?s in the mix" How many wins do we need to make the top six" Here are my two cents?

The race for promotion is heating up but the top four teams look nailed on to stay put. Fourth-placed Southampton have a 10-point buffer on fifth-placed West Brom, not to mention a game in hand.
So, for me, the two final playoff places are up for grabs. West Brom, Norwich, Hull and Coventry are well placed, with Preston, Cardiff, Middlesbrough and Sunderland making up the chasing pack.
So, what does our run-in look like"
