Forest boss Warburton thankful after Bournemouth’s ‘magnificent gesture’



Mark Warburton has thanked Bournemouth for their “magnificent gesture” after they agreed to rescind the loan of Adam Federici.
The goalkeeper only arrived on loan at Nottingham Forest on transfer deadline day, but the Cherries have agreed to take him back andtake on his wages after he was injured on international duty.
Federici broke down in training with the Socceroos and will undergo knee surgery on Tuesday. It comes as a huge blow to Forest, who were liable to pick up his wages after signing him until January.
Fortunately Bournemouth stepped in to write off the loan deal and Warburton is very grateful.
?Adam is having surgery and we have sent him our best wishes over that ? but Bournemouth have basically rescinded the loan and taken their player back. That is a magnificent gesture on their part,? Warburton told the Nottingham Post ?The focus is on the health and wellbeing of the player. He is having surgery to find out the extent of the damage – and action will be taken from there.
?I would expect nothing less from somebody like Eddie Howe and Bournemouth in general, but I want to say how outstanding they have been in dealing with this.
?We are very thankful about the way they have acted throughout this entire process and I am sure everyone would wish Adam the best of luck with the surgery and a swift and speedy return.
