Player’s move to Wolves collapsed after Wanderers failed to agree on terms for transfer with club

Earlier in July, Mario Lemina expressed his desire to leave Southampton.
In the last week of the Premier League transfer window, Wolverhampton Wanderers showed interested in acquiring the midfielder?s services.
On August 3rd, we carried a report from Foot Mercato, who explained Nuno Espirito Santo?s side were in ?advanced discussions with the Saints for a loan deal with a mandatory purchase option for the former Juventus man.
Two days later, Manu Lonjon, a journalist for Yahoo! Sport in France, explained that Lemina was ?very close? to making a switch to Molineux.

However, the Gabon international did not join Wolves and he is still at St Mary?s Stadium, and in a transfer round-up, Foot Mercato now explain why the deal taking Lemina to Molineux did not take shape. It?s claimed the Wanderers and Southampton could not agree on the terms of the loan deal.
Despite Lemina?s failure to sign for Wolves, he is still working on finding a new club before the European transfer window closes in the coming weeks, with Celta Vigo in Spain taking a late interest in his services to bolster their midfield.
