“He’d call me at once” – Confidence manager won’t keep Stoke City approach a secret

OFK Chairman Daniel Kindberg has told the Swedish media he?s not been approached by Stoke City for manager Graham Potter.
The former Stoke City defender has been linked with a move to the Premier League side, following the sacking of Mark Hughes at the weekend.
Speaking to Fotbol Direkt, Kindberg was asked if he?d heard from Stoke City after reports linking Potter with a return to his former club: ?No, I have not heard anything. And if Graham heard, he’d call me at once.
?I?m very wary about the English newspapers. He?s made a name a for himself and they write about him as soon as there is a job vacant without any substance to it.?
Embed from Getty Images Stoke City are hoping to name a manager as soon as possible after the dismissal of Hughes on Saturday night. The Welshman paid the price for a poor season, and the FA Cup defeat to Coventry City.
Due to his work with OFK over the years, it always seemed likely Potter would be linked with the Stoke City job, given he played for the club.
Potter has guided OFK from the lower leagues in Sweden to the top flight, and this season the club has reached the knockout stages of the Europa League.
