Daniel James’ father has passed away suddenly with the Swansea winger on the verge of a switch to Manchester United.
The Red Devils have reportedly agreed a £15 million deal to sign James this summer and the 21-year-old attacker was set to become Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s first signing of the transfer window, but the move has been put on hold.
According to The Daily Mail, United will give James all the time and space he needs to grieve the tragic loss of his father.
The 60-year-old had been suffering with an illness but family members had not expected him to pass away so suddenly.
