Odds on Swansea to stay up are massive going into Premier League final day

Swansea go into the last game of the Premier League season needing a minor miracle to stay in the division, and the odds reflect that.
Things have got no easier for the Welsh club given that it has been confirmed today that their manager, Carlos Carvalhal, will leave at the end of the season whatever happens.
The Swans already had a monumental task ahead of them this weekend and with the manager’s departure confirmed, it can hardly help.
The bookies have recognised just how unlikely it is for them to survive and acted accordingly.

Sky Bet are offering a whopping 150/1 for Swansea to avoid relegation in the 2017/18 Premier League season. At those odds you might well be tempted to stick on a spare pound, but there is plenty to consider before you do so.
The Swans (18th) are three points behind Southampton (17th) meaning that they need to win and need Saints to lose to have any chance at all.
Given Swansea are at home to Stoke and Southampton are hosting Manchester City this is not out of the question. However…

The goal difference situation is pretty dire for the Swans as they are currently -27 with Southampton only -18.
They need a nine-goal swing just to level things...
