‘Disrupted’ – Ange Postecoglou has not been a fan of Spurs’ two-week break
In his latest press conference, Tottenham Hotspur manager Ange Postecoglou has revealed how he would rather his side didn’t have the break they just had due to fixtures being postponed, and lamented the constant disruption the season has included.
Spurs were due to play Chelsea last Friday, but the game was postponed due to the Blues’ involvement in the Carabao Cup final. That fixture is still yet to be placed in the calendar for Tottenham as they head into the final stages of the season.
While other teams in the Premier League played their 26th game of the campaign, Spurs had to watch on with nothing to do. Worse yet, is the fact that Aston Villa won comfortably and extended their lead in fourth place.
Ange Postecoglou‘s men will go into this weekend needing a positive result against Crystal Palace to stay in the fight for that all-important top-four spot. They will go into the game, however, with concerns over match sharpness after having two weeks off.

Postecoglou would rather not have had the break
Speaking to the press (via Football.London), Postecoglou explained the impact these constant breaks are having on the team’s season, and why he doesn’t like them.
